We are full of local knowledge and are happy to give you recommendations if you're lost on where to go!

Planning is KEY

You'll get the best experience if you pre-plan your trip and have a good idea of where you want to go on the day.

Strictly no groups larger than 5. If you're travelling as part of a smaller group and are booking tickets individually, please make a comment of this in the special requirements field.

We want you to have a great day but please respect other passengers on the bus.

Transport Service

We provide a transport service (not a tour operator) to get you around some of Victoria's most beautiful areas.

What does hop on hop off mean?

Hop on Hop off is a form of touring where you travel indipendantly from other groups on the bus. We actually encourage you to do this as it means our Hop It venues dont get innindated with large groups of un-booked guests. The Hop It Bus follows a set timetable where you, the hopper, decides where to hop on and off. Using the timetable you can plan your day around our hops and hop at your own pace.

How much is the ticket?

The cost of your ticket depends on what day of the week you are hopping and where you start and end your tour. Healesville pick up and return - $49.95 (Thursday-Sunday) Melbourne CBD/Lilydale Station pick up and return - $59.95 (Thursday & Friday) Melbourne CBD/Lilydale Station pick up and return - $69.95 (Saturday & Sunday)

How does the timetable work?

You can visit up to 4 Hop It Stops throughout the day depending how long you would like to stay at each venue. All this is at your own pace and independently from other groups on the bus. The easiest way to plan your day is to determine first where you would like to have lunch. To maximise your number of stops you should visit venues in the same order as the timetable e.g. top down not bottom up.

What are your pick up locations?

We pick up from the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Russell Street, Lilydale Station & at Innocent Bystander in Healesville.

What if I don't like wine?

Not a wine lover, not a problem we cater for all needs! The Yarra Valley is a great destination for foodies and has amazing scenic spots which you can explore along the route. If you're more of a gin/cider/beer/vodka lover then we have all of these covered within our Hop It Stops!

Is there a tour guide?

Hop It does not offer guided tours however we are more than happy to recomend some great venues for you to hop off at. It's totaly up to you which venues you want to visit and how long you want to spend there. It's important that you plan your day before you hop on to make the most of the time you have at each stop. Our Hop It Info Guide that you will receive with your order confirmation will give you all the information needed to decide on where to hop on and off at.

Will there be other people on the bus?

Yes, there will be other hoppers on the bus however each group travels independantly and may not hop off at the same stops as you.

Do you cater to large groups?

If you are looking to book for a group larger than 5 people, please give us a call on 03 8596 2659 so we pass you onto one of our reccomended partners.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Yes, we accept payment via credit card only on board the bus. However, we do recommend due to seating capacity, that you check with us beforehand. You can always give us a call on 03 8596 2659.

Where can I eat?

There are some great lunch options available in the Yarra Valley. Below is a list of our favourites: - Innocent Bystander - Healesville - 400 Gradi - Rochford Wines - Isabella's Restaurant - Rochford Wines - No.7 Healesville - Domaine Chandon We can help you make a reservation at these venues as they can get very busy on weekends and during summer.

Is this tour suitable for children?

Unfortunately, the Hop On Hop Off Tour is not suitable for children under 18 years of age.

Does the ticket included tastings at the venues?

The ticket price includes your transportation. Some of the venues charge for tastings anything between $5 and $15. Most cellar doors will reimburse the cost of the tasting when you make a purchase.
