Ever wondered how we do a day out on Hop It? Well, wonder no more. We’ve spilled the tea (or should we say, the wine) on our personal picks for the ultimate weekend itinerary.
Sara’s all about slow sips, scenic strolls and a touch of indulgence. Jon on the other hand is going full throttle with bold flavours, big reds and no time wasted. Whether you’re here for the fizz or the fire, we’ve got your next Hop It itinerary sorted.
So… who are you hopping with?

Sara's Sip & Stroll on the Mornington Peninsula | Jon's Bold Moves in the Yarra Valley |
Stop 1: Crittenden Wines "You can't go wrong by starting the day with some Italian varietals. I'm a sucker for a Sangiovese & Crittenden just does it very well." | Stop 1: Punt Road Wines "One of my new favourite wines here is 'The Holy Quinity' - a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec & Syrah. Just incredible!" |
Stop 2: Eldridge Estate "One of my newly discovered favourites. The view, the wine & the cheese boards are the perfect combo to settle in and enjoy this boutique gem." | Stop 2: Pimpernel Vineyards "Still a relatively new stop on the Hop It timetable but definitely a popular one. And I totally get why - I love the boutique feel & the 'Grouch' is my go to here." |
Stop 3: Red Hill Estate "I can't go past chocolate, especially when it's Cuvée Chocolate. It's the perfect option to pair these iconic Mornington Peninsula wines with some incredible chocolate. This is also a great stop if you're looking for a casual Italian style lunch." | Stop 3: Giant Steps Wine "Having been named 2025 Halliday Winery of the Year should already be enough reason for everyone to go & visit. 'Harry's Monste' is the perfect & of course delicous mix of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot." |
Stop 4: JimmyRum "There's no better way to finish off a Hop It trip with a visit to our good friend Jimmy. The Oaked Rum is my go-to or otherwise I'm always happy with a cocktail in my hand." | Stop 4: Giammarino Wines "This brand new stop on our timetable needs to be on your next Hop It trip list. I promise that you won't be disappointed. Not only does Dino make incredible wine but you may even be lucky enough to get a serve of his freshly cooked pasta." |
We now feature over 70 venues across all 3 regions on our hop on hop off timetables. There are so many stops to choose from and of course all of them are our favourites. We hand picked and tried each one of them to make sure we only bring you the very best.
So what are you waiting for, let's get hopping!
