We've worked together with all of our Yarra Valley venues across our Red & Green route to give you a detailed look at what you can expect at each of these stops when it comes to your requirements.
Let's start with some stats:
96% of all Yarra Valley Hop It venues offer vegan wines. With 44% stating that all of their products are vegan and 52% of venues stating that some of their products are vegan friendly.
45% of venues can cater to customised meals within 24-48 hours in advance. With 70% of venues noting that they are able to assist with last minute changes.
All venues are able to offer either gluten-free meals or other food options as well as cater to vegetarian. 92% are able to offer dairy-free options and 87% can cater for vegans. Around 30% can cater for a halal diet.
88% of venues are accessible by wheelchair.
Dietary Options: Something for Everyone
Many of our Hop It venues offer extensive dietary accommodations to ensure you have the best experience:
Vegan-Friendly Venues: The majority of stops provide vegan wines, gins, or beers. Some venues also offer detailed explanations of which products are vegan.
Dietary Catering: All venues can cater to gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, and even halal diets. They also welcome advance notice for customised meals, often requiring 24-48 hours for preparation. Some venues are flexible enough to accommodate same-day requests.
Last-Minute Changes: Most venues are somewhat flexible with dietary changes made on the day, with a few exceptions that can handle even last-minute updates seamlessly.
Accessibility: Inclusive Experiences
We want to make our Yarra Valley hop on hop off experience as inclusive as possible. Here's how we and our stops ensure accessibility:
Wheelchair Accessibility Venues: The majority of venues in the Hop It itinerary are wheelchair accessible, including entranceways, seating areas, and restrooms. You can focus on enjoying your visit without worrying about access limitations.
Wheelchair Accessibility Bus: We are able to cater for foldable wheelchairs or other mobility aids that can be folded and stored in the back of the bus. We've created an accessibility guide that will outline the different ways of accessing the bus with measurements.
Sensory Assistance: While options like braille menus or hearing loops are not currently provided, some venues will go above and beyond by ensuring seamless access to front doors for easier drop-offs.
Tip: Always inform the venue and Hop It ahead of time if you have specific dietary or accessibility needs!
